Join the Western Arkansas Runners and the Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House for the 21st Annual Survivors’ Challenge, the area’s largest footrace. This year’s event includes 10K & 5K chip-timed races, a 5k walk/run (untimed) & a 1-mile Celebration Walk.
The 10K race is part of the 2012 Arkansas Grand Prix Circuit, drawing runners from around the State who compete for points and prizes.
Do cancer survivors have to pay to walk or run? We ask that survivors pay as a way to give back to the Support House and to help us help you and other local cancer patients. The Survivors’ Challenge is an important fundraiser for the Support House. Please invite your friends and family to join you on 10.20.12! We will recognize cancer survivors that morning and really want to have you there.
Visit the Run for a Reason banner in Creekmore Park and dedicate your participation to a loved one or friend. Bring your fans! They can make signs to cheer you on, stand along the race course, cheer you across the finish and celebrate with you at the finish line festival.
New for 2012! Choose the $15 VIP package and receive perks including reserved parking at the Reynolds Cancer Support House, secure room to check bags, use of indoor restrooms, and pre-race refreshments on the back porch.
